QUICKBUY INSTANT PURCHASING FEATURES

QuickBuy allows returning customers to checkout with a click of their mouse and no forms to fill out. This is a very powerful capability which encourages return visits.

The QuickBuy features of SendSafe fall into two categories. All returning customers will use one or the other of these features.

Standard Entry Form Purchase:

Customer that do not use QuickBuy will find that all the information they entered in the prior purchase is filled in for them. This saves time, effort, and eliminates mistakes. The only information that is not filled in for a customer is credit card number, expiration date, and coupon numbers. This information is not filled in as a security measure.

QuickBuy Instant Checkout:

QuickBuy is a powerful SendSafe feature that allows returning customers to select items and checkout with just a click of the mouse without having to reenter any Shipping or Billing information. The QuickBuy option is presented to all customers who have previously ordered products from the web site. Returning customers will see on the page an Instant Purchase option like this:

To use Instant Checkout, select one of the credit cards that you have previously used with it's corresponding shipping information; then press the "Instant Checkout" button.
To enter new shipping or billing information, press the "Continue Checkout" button.

The customer then selects the Shipping Address + Credit Card option from the drop down list and presses the [ Instant Purchase ] button. An "Qre You Sure" message box is displayed then the order is immediately processed.

How QuickBuy Works:

The diagram on the right shows the entire path taken on a web site that uses QuickBuy. You can click on the diagram to open a larger view.

When a customer first visits a web site and buys something they go down the path labeled with the letter A. This path completes the order & saves a customer ID in a cookie.

When a customer returns to a web site they go down the path labeled with the letter B. SendSafe uses the cookie to recognize the customer. SendSafe then offers the customer the option of making QuickBuys.

Note: The SendSafe QuickBuy web pages will prompt with a logon if a customer cookie is not present.
